We have been in the short-term rental industry for 4 years.

What do you find most rewarding about your career?

Creating beautiful spaces that take guests’ breath away.

What is your favorite rental property you have and why do you love it? 

Mountain Chalet Stay – This was the first listing that started it all.

What’s the craziest story you have from hosting?

Between a family hauling away half a cord of recently stacked firewood in their family car, to a guest asking if deer would join them in the hot tub or house, to a guest requesting a bed to be sprinkled in lingerie and condoms – people are quirky and you truly hear it all as a host.

What’s one “pro-tip” you’d be willing to pass on to the community?

Always, always, always natural linens. It doesn’t matter how wonderful the stay is, if the sleep experience wasn’t exceptional – you won’t have return guests.

What’s the most recent item that you can remember that you’ve ordered from HostGPO?

Most recently we bought new mattresses for a listing, but the most memorable recent purchase is a trailing fern duvet from West Elm.
