How many years have you been in the short-term rental industry and how did you get started?

For 3 years, I had to assist my family during the Covid restrictions. When the restrictions were lifted, we were bombarded with bookings.

What do you find most rewarding about your career?

Making vacations special for our guests, making our owners’ lives easier, and working with our amazing staff!

What is your favorite rental property you have and why do you love it?

Our property called the Drift Away. This is our family’s personal STR and our first.

What’s the craziest story you have from hosting?

One of our properties lost power on Christmas Eve this year. It’s a massive property and power was out for a good amount of time. Because it was Christmas Eve we gave all of our employees off, so I had to take care of it. I had to grab a generator and fire wood then run around this massive house with a heavy generator and extension cords to make sure this wonderful family was warm and had some power. Had to do all of this then returned home to make Christmas Eve dinner!

What’s one “pro-tip” you’d be willing to pass on to the community?

Find people that care as much as you do. Anything can happen when everyone works together and cares.
