How many years have you been in the short term rental industry and how did you get started?

I have been in the industry for 2 and a half years. I started designing for property managers both in my local area and across the country.

What do you find most rewarding about your career?

I absolutely love blending top-notch hospitality with beautiful & inspiring design.

What is your favorite rental property you have and why do you love it?

Lake Glenville Cottage. It is professionally designed and newly renovated with a boutique design that has all the comforts of home, such as a screened-in porch. The cottage is located minutes away from Lake Glenville and Cashiers, which means that it is close to year-round outdoor activities. Finally, the cottage has been featured in My Domaine, so it has been recognized for its design, comfort, and location. Lake Glenville Cottage truly offers the best of both worlds, and that is why it is my favorite rental.

What’s the craziest story you have from hosting?

My pipes burst christmas week after the rest of the town had been experienced loss of power and burst pipes. My guests actually had experience in plumbing and insisted we let them repair the pipes because they didn’t want to leave. They still had a good time in spite of the incident.

What’s one “pro-tip” you’d be willing to pass on to the community

Top priority should always be guests experience first. Profits will follow.
